Hypnosis and Active-Alert Hypnosis for Sports Performance

Raising your Performance

Cognitive Sports' Psychology combined with Hypnotherapy is an area I have a particular passion for and have undergone exceptional training by ultra-marathon runner and expert researcher and investigator in this field, Adam Eason. You can read more about my exploits here on the blog or over at my website The Simple Mindful Runner.

It is now agreed by experts who work with elite athletes that the psychological side to performance is equally as important as the physical side. We only have to look at evidence of this by sporting personalities who overcame failure and extreme pressure to succeed. Rory Mcllroy in the golf masters in 2011, Stuart Pearce's goal against Spain in Euro1996, injury-plagued Paula Radcliffe, to name but a few.

Therapeutic hypnosis is used for overcoming habits, increasing motivation, lowering anxiety, dealing with pain, all areas which can lend themselves well to support enhanced performance in sport.

I am not a sports coach but I can help with developing the right mindset and psychological skills to make a massive difference. I can show you how goal-setting motivates you, and how to use hypnosis for your particular sport, using hypnotherapy principles for enhancing sporting ability and ensuring the mind is as equipped and trained for any sporting event as the body is.

So whether you need to work on developing focus, enhancing confidence and belief, letting go of distraction, being mindful, learning to relax effectively and developing the mindset of a better performer, I am here to help you overcome those walls.
